Trails of Culture - KMPk Arts & Cultural Carnival 2016 is an event administrated by fellow students that includes all races at Perak Matriculation College (KMPk). This event will be held on 17th December 2016 at the college itself. The prime objective of organizing this carnival is to promote multicultural understanding and all races whilst fortifying the multiracial bonds among ourselves.
This vibrant carnival is a fusion of multicultural exhibits and performances executed simultaneously. It displays an infinite array of stimulating traditional arts and craft, cuisine, games and not to forget, a series of lively cultural performances such as martial arts and dances.
In order to render this meaningful and memorable event success, we hereby humbly request for your generous donation to help us cover some of the expenses. For further information, the expenses will be spent mainly to cover the cost of the exhibition booths, tents, lightings, stages, props and various decorations of the event. We would like to express our gratitude in advance for your support and generosity that can aid us in flourishing this vivid carnival. Thanks.

The main adversity we encounter is our below par financial status. Trails of Culture is an entirely student oriented event, therefore the funding merely from students is extremely limited. Our 30 exhibition booths, ranging from foods & drinks, to cultural arts & crafts and traditional games already consume a soaring high cost of RM10000. Which does not yet include the pricey lightings, stage, tents, decorations and miscellaneous stuff which might approximately sum up to an additional RM3000. As we are well aware of, orthodox funding methods within limited activity space and resources in our college is apparently not substanial for the massive expenditure. Besides that, the college administration does not provide much financial support sufficient enough to make a dent in our deficit. Therefore, we are here to seek help from the public to donate and aid us in our financial crisis in order to make this event accomplishable.
